I experienced intense RSD last year after dealing with ablism within an institution, advocating for myself, and dealing with that institution's gaslighting, denial, and dismissiveness. When the RSD became disabling, I asked for accommodations, they were like "So sorry that you're struggling. Sounds like a you problem though." I am no longer associated with that institution and I'm still recovering from the trauma (experiencing RSD). RAIN and other self-acceptance self-love embodiment practices are helping me heal though.
